The NETWORK GROUP is one of the UK’s largest independent groups operating in the specialist recruitment and business process outsourcing markets. The GROUP provides permanent, temporary and contract solutions to employers of diverse sizes and sectors as well as payroll, credit management and IT services. The UK recruitment sector has an annual turnover of approximately £30 billion according to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation published in January 2007 and is the second largest market in the world for recruitment services. The business process outsourcing sector has an annual turnover thought to be more than £4 billion.
The UK economy is currently well placed to deliver further growth in recruitment services and the trend continues for businesses to outsource various key processes. Employers frequently comment upon the shortage of skilled candidates. This factor combined with continued wage inflation and a realisation that jobs are no longer ‘for life’ provides job seekers with the confidence to change jobs more frequently. In this changing environment employers increasingly outsource the recruitment function to specialist agencies to try and secure talented staff.
